Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB), our Ceylon Hikka Tours chauffeur will meet you at the airport greetings area. You will then be transferred to Kandy, with a route visit to either the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage or the Millennium Elephant Foundation.

Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, the city tour in Kandy includes a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (Dalada Maligawa), housing what is considered to be the most prized treasure in Sri Lanka: a Buddha's tooth, enclosed in a sacred relic and symbolizing sovereignty.

Following the temple visit, you will be taken to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya and also visit the gem museum.

Concluding the city tour, you will be transferred to Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as 'Little England.' En route, there will be a visit to a tea factory and plantation (Transfer time approx. 2 h). In the afternoon, explore Gregory Park and enjoy the cool climate.
